Hello. My name is Nazan, and I teach Vedic meditation in-person and provide Ayurvedic consultations online globally.

I started meditating almost a decade ago to reduce stress that was manifesting physically after some major life transitions. I started with the apps, which were helpful, but I was seeking a deeper experience to help keep me grounded amid a lot of change and uncertainty. I found a teacher to properly guide me through Vedic meditation, and I quickly learned that a regular practice not only improved my physical health, but provided me with a perspective on life that enhanced my relationships and career.
As a result, I devoted myself to studying the ancient Vedic philosophy underlying my practice with prominent meditation instructors, including Maharishi Vyasanand Saraswati, a pre-eminent authority of Vedic knowledge who was a student and direct disciple of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi for over 30 years. And after several years of study and a 12-week full-time intensive training, I was inducted into the Shankaracharya Tradition by Swami Kailashanand Brahmachari of Jyotir Math, the highest ranking authority of Vedic knowledge in India. ​

I am also a certified practitioner in Ayurvedic Digestion & Nutrition through Joyful Belly's School of Ayurveda and a member of the American Association of Biocharacteristics Clinicians (AABC). With my background in meditation and specialty in the gut microbiome, I focus on leveraging the gut-brain axis through meditation, nutrition and lifestyle to strengthen the immune system and optimize mental, physical and emotional health.
